What We're Reading: Young and Homeless

This Sunday, the New York Times featured the brilliant photo essay "Young And Homeless." Through his moving photographs, photographer Craig Blankenhorn captures the small moments and puts a face on the struggles of parents and children who are homeless throughout the country.
We met with Craig earlier this summer and were impressed by the passion and empathy that he is bringing in his quest to share the portraits of those who are too often invisible so that others can't remain blind to their struggles.
So far, Craig has photographed homeless families in Janesville and Beloit, Wis., Tampa and Kissimmee, Fla., and in Essex County, N.J. He is continuing to travel throughout the country to show the lives of homeless children.
