Presentation Proposal

Presenter Requirements, Terms, and Conditions:

Please read the following terms and conditions that apply to presenting at ICPH’s Beyond Housing 2020 Conference. All submitters must accept these terms in order for proposals to be considered.

  • Onsite presentations should correspond with original session descriptions.
  • Proposals submitted for review are not guaranteed acceptance.
  • If accepted, I understand that: (1) All language submitted in the presentation, including learning objectives, presenter bios, and session descriptions will be used for marketing purposes. ICPH retains the right to edit the text for printed and online programs. (2) The proposal may be combined with another presentation(s) of a similar topic for a shared presentation, where appropriate (and after discussion with all parties).
  • All requested information must be provided in order for proposals to be validated.
  • If accepted, your presentation must be submitted to Beyondhousing@ICPHusa.org before your designated session time.
  • All presenters must register for the conference. If there is a group that is presenting, one person must be listed as the lead presenter. The lead presenter of each approved proposal will receive a complimentary conference registration. All co-presenters will be offered a conference registration at at the discounted co-presenter rate of $75.00.

To submit a proposal, indicate that you accept the conditions above by checking Yes.

The September 2020 edition of the Journal of Children & Poverty (Volume 26, Issue 2) published by Taylor and Francis will be a special issue devoted to the 2020 Beyond Housing Conference. It will feature Policy Briefs tied to topics presented at the conference. If you are interested in learning more about how your presentation proposal/session topic could be considered for this special issue, please indicate your interest below. Note: If more than one presenter will be part of your presentation, the information below must be completed for each person in your presentation. Otherwise, skip to the next section.

Attach JPEG photo/headshot of EACH presenter (300dpi, 3×3 inches)
(No more than 150 words each. Bios longer than 150 words will not be accepted.)

Audio Visual Requirements
  • The breakout rooms will be set up in Theater style.
  • All breakout rooms will be set up with a projector, screen, and microphones.
  • Sessions with just one presenter will have a podium with a microphone.
  • Sessions that have two or more presenters will have a skirted table with microphones, no podium.
  • All speakers are required to bring their own laptops if showing a PowerPoint presentation and/or video.
  • Unless specifically requested at this time and approved by the conference team, internet will NOT be available in the breakout rooms. Last minute and on-site requests cannot be accommodated.
(PCs are preferred.)
