QNS: More than 30 percent of students at these Queens schools are currently homeless, study finds

“An interactive map and study released by a nonprofit research organization revealed that more than 127,000 students in New York City have experienced homelessness within the last five school years.

According to the Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness (ICPH), one in eight children going to public school in the 2014-2015 school year experienced homelessness within the past five school years.”
